Bio-Purification Chromatography Valves

Bio-purification chromatography has become increasingly important in the fields of bio-technology. As purification schemes scale up, the use of semi-preparative chromatography is required to isolate biomolecules. Cadence has designed a family of valves that are ideal for the unique requirements of biologically complex samples. These multi-position valves can be configured as injectors, switching or selector valves (Fig 1 & 2), with extended capabilites to allow for multiple mode injections and multi-column selection.  Cadence also has the capabiltiy to integrate a variety of sensors (ion, pH, etc) directly into the valve to eliminate multple component fluidics flowpaths to simplify instrument design.
